When it comes to dining by the beach, the first place you should check out is Aruba Beach Cafe. Can you say "Oceanfront View?" This is a great place to kick back and enjoy some great Caribbean-Floridian fare. Great Lobster sandwich, and the world famous Conch Fritters, make this one place to soak up the sea air and catch glimpses of cruise ships as they sail off to tropical destinations.   Colen's Corner Rating:  3***

When looking at it from the outside you might mistake it for a corner diner. But, make no mistake, this is one of the finest gourmet restaurants in the Ft. Lauderdale area. Chef Oliver Saucy sets the standard at this celebrated Pompano Beach shrine. It features a New World cuisine that changes daily. Excellent service in a casual atmosphere. Very dependable... This is the place to be seen on the street to be seen. Planning a trip to Florida in the winter; make your reservations in the summer because this is the most popular restaurant in the Ft. Lauderdale area. "Quality ingredients!" proclaim the beautiful people that frequent this hot spot.    Colen's Corner Rating:  3 1/2 ***

As soon as you walk through the door, you are welcomed with a traditional Japanese greeting from the sushi chefs behind the bar. Depending on the size of your party, you can choose to sit at (or near) the sushi bar where all the action takes place. With undoubtedly the freshest fish to work with, the singing Samurai's will create some of most delicate and unusual creations you've ever tasted.
